Theo Sowa

Theo Sowa is a UK Charity Commissioner and an an independent advisor working on a wide range of international issues with a focus on social development and children and youth. Her recent work includes evaluation, policy and organisational development with UNICEF, UNDP, the Commonwealth Secretariat, the African Women's Development Fund, DfID and the Stephen Lewis Foundation. Born in Ghana, she has lived and worked in various parts of Africa, Europe, the USA and Asia. She is a board member  and advisor to  various charities  including the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (Board member); Comic Relief (International Grants Committee member) and the  Refugee Council (Chair's Advisory group).
