Sir Robert ffolkes is an expert in development with a lifetime's interest in Himalayan mountain development. He was head of Save the Children's regional offices in East Africa and South Asia during the 1990s and has long experience of work in both  disasters and development. He currently divides his time between Norfolk and Ladakh
