Michael Hansen

Current Positions:

Trustee, Evidence for Development.

Director and Chair of Audit Committee of the Superannuation Arrangements of the University of London (SAUL).

Board member of the NGO Health Unlimited.

Experience:

Mike has held senior posts in BP, working 10 years overseas in Indonesia, Singapore, the USA and Belgium. His roles have included Regional Finance Manager, East Asia and Manager of Strategy and Planning, BP Oil, Europe.

Mike also has 12 years’ experience in the management of leading UK academic institutions. He was Director of Finance at Imperial College, London, and until 2005 was Director of Resources at King’s College, London (one of the largest universities in the UK with annual turnover of £350m and 19000 students). Mike has been a director of a number of subsidiary companies of King’s College, London, and the London Universities Purchasing Consortium.

Mike is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) (UK)

Economics graduate of the University of Stirling.
