Information to Change Lives

Evidence for Development aims to increase the effectiveness of international development aid and to promote openness, impact and accountability.

 We focus our work on

  • People: capacity building, training and promoting the method of household economy assessment and modelling, through competent practitioners and organisations.

  • Research: focussing on micro-level assessment methods, best practices and improved tools for data collection and analysis.

  • Technology: promoting open source, collaborative software development to ensure free access and on-going maintenance and enhancement of the micro-economic analytical and modelling tools originated by EfD.

Evidence for Development is generously supported by Covington and Burling through pro-bono legal services, by Lee Dicketts and Co through accountancy services and by JustAskDesigns for graphics and artwork.
