Evidence for Development's aim is to improve the impact and accountability of interventions and to achieve better returns on global development investments. We believe all donors, be they governments, charitable organizations, foundations or individuals deserve a clear measure of return on investment for the billion of pounds, dollars and euros they invest annually. To make a lasting impact on the lives of people in developing countries, these investments must be better planned, properly implemented and measured with the same precision and level of detail as other financial investments.
